Destiny, Faith, and Questions

Greetings beautiful people

Does the spoken word have power?   This question is asked outside the realms of an authority figure.  What I’m getting at is, if you always speak in the positive sense and believe, will good good things manifest for you?  I use to think this way and then I took a real good look around at myself and others and noticed there’s no real consistent progress or regression in anyones life as a reflection of this ideology.

I know people who are f*cking monsters!  I mean miserable walking zombies ready to eat others brains.  They have great success in life and do so, while making others miserable.

I know people annoyingly positive.   Everything is sunshine and rainbows.  They always believe today is going to be the day!  Well today was the day their car was stolen.  Today was the day they lost their job.  Today was the day they found out they’re going to need antibiotics for rash.  Yet they handle all this bad stuff with a smile.  I wonder how well they’d do being tortured in Vietnam?  Can you imagine?

I believe in the power of positive thinking.  We should always be confident when doing something and expect the best under whatever circumstances are presented.

Does that mean it’ll turn out good?

Do we control out own destiny or does shit just happen?

Question questions.

Till next time

Yo brotha

You might be interested in reading The Celestine Prophecy. I can’t really explain it well, but it speaks to the energy in the universe and how it can influence (i.e. positive thinking). Super-saved folk would probably reject it outright, but there are ways in which it supports and even helps to clarify Biblical truths. Anyway, I thought it was interesting.
